Hurtta Swimmer Dog Vest




The Hurtta Swimmer Dog Vest is a durable and warming high-visibility vest for outdoor activities, swimming, SUP paddling, water rescue, rehabilitation and hunting. It is made of elastic and non-absorbent neoprene. The material is durable and silent in use. Thanks to its excellent thermal insulation, the neoprene vest is particularly suitable for water-rescue dogs that work in cool temperatures and gundogs that retrieve game from water. The vest features floats that support the dog when swimming. It has a belly flap that protects the dog's sensitive belly area. It contains Clariant Sanitized treatment, with the active substance permethrin. It protects against insects such as mosquitoes, horseflies and ticks.

Please note: The Clariant Sanitized treatment is dermatologist tested and safe to sue on dogs, but it may cause a reaction to sensitive skin. It is not suitable for cats, as permethrin is poisonous to them.

How to Measure:
Neckline: Take at the base of the neck, this being the widest point of the neck. The neckline of an overall can be larger than the circumference of the dog's neck as it can be adjusted to fit a smaller neck.
Chest: Take at the widest point of the chest, from behind the front legs. To ensure sufficient freedom of movement, add two inches to this measurement.
Waist: Take at the widest part of the waist, from in front of the back legs.
